UI Icons

A selection of icons commonly used in WRI designs have been compiled for you to use. If you design new ones, they must follow the same style. Corners can be pointed or rounded, depending on your needs. Icons should be clean but not harsh in shape. Bear in mind that the minimum size is 16px so it is important that the icons have no ornamentation and remain faithful to the original concept.

Do:

  • Have a clear objective
  • Stay well-grounded
  • Keep it timeless
  • Keep it clean
  • Keep it simple and geometric
  • Keep it flat (no perspective)
  • Use the same stroke and size
  • Allow different levels of brand perception
  • Use recognizable patterns or forms

Don’t:

  • Mix two different metaphors in one icon.
  • Add noise to the icon with ornamentals.
